JournaLIPP No. 8 (2023) explores the theme of Language & Migration, bringing together contributions stemming from presentations at the 27th LIPP Symposium, which took place virtually due to the pandemic from November 15 to 17, 2021. In this edition, nine articles shed light on the contexts of migration from diverse cultures and languages to Germany, as well as language variations across Europe and beyond. These perspectives are offered through the lens of various subfields within linguistics, employing both diachronic and synchronic approaches (refer to the Introduction for more details).
